Sarah Evans, Co-Owner & Teacher
Sarah Evans is a Tier 2 Baptiste Certified Yoga Educator, a FIT to Lead graduate through the Baptiste Institute and the founder of the local nonprofit 3 Rivers Yoga. She is also a R.N., Massage Therapist, and owns her own Massage Studio, Solace Massage & Bodywork. Sarah started doing yoga in early childhood and has been practicing various styles of yoga throughout the years. When she discovered Baptiste Yoga she found her voice, her desire for leadership and her community. She wanted to be a part of something bigger than herself. Sarah is dedicated to bringing Baptiste Yoga to the city of Fort Wayne through her work with 3 Rivers Yoga Foundation, Farm Yoga, the Yoga Studio setting and leading impactful Teacher Training programs for others to discover their best selves.
She lives on a beautiful farm in Yoder, IN with her three children and her husband where they ride horses, hike, bike ride, play soccer, garden and enjoy boating in the summer on the lake.
Leslie Williams, Co-Owner & Teacher
Leslie Williams is a RYT 200 level teacher and has been teaching yoga since 2015. She is a board member of a local nonprofit, 3 Rivers Yoga Foundation, and an upcoming participant at a Level 1 training through the Baptiste Institute. Her professional history includes psychology, real estate, and law.
Leslie believes yoga can change your life because she has experienced the physical, emotional, and cognitive benefits first hand. Her classes will challenge your personal edge, while offering modifications to make it accessible to all. In class and as a leader in teacher trainings, Leslie encourage her students to find inner strength and empowerment both on and off their mat.
When she is not teaching or practicing yoga, you can find Leslie with her family and friends, hanging out at the lake and enjoying great food or a good laugh.
Ashley Mitchell, Teacher
Ashley Mitchell first stepped onto her yoga mat in 2016 after moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana and has been passionate about the practice ever since. Ashley has always viewed yoga as her re-set button and a form of physical and emotional self-care. She has found that her yoga mat serves as a mirror for her life off the mat; it allows her to quiet her mind as she moves from distraction to direction while practicing self-love, discipline and grace. Ashley is committed to connecting individuals in our community and holding space for others with integrity, vulnerability and authenticity. She began teaching group fitness in 2017, with a specific focus on pre- and post-natal fitness, and received her 200 RYT certification in 2019. When Ashley isn’t in the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exploring local restaurants and entertaining.
Jennifer Mills, Teacher
Jen Mills is a tier one certified Baptiste teacher, a 200 hour RYT, and is a board member and yoga teacher for the 3 Rivers Yoga Foundation. Jen’s journey with yoga began when a mentor encouraged her to make her way from the fitness room to yoga. Through the Baptiste methodology, Jen discovered her passion for health and healing and pursued this interest further by becoming a massage therapist. Teaching yoga has become an outlet for Jen’s passion for service by volunteering to teach yoga to the military, veterans, and first responders. Jen enjoys spending time with her family, friends, snuggling her pups, Starbucks, and warm, sunny days .
Maddy Hausch, Teacher
Maddy Hausch is 200 hour registered yoga teacher and an intensive care registered nurse. After being a high school and college athlete all her life, Maddy found yoga in 2018. While just trying to find something to stay in shape, she instead found something that completely changed her life and challenged her in a way she didn’t know was possible. Being passionate about learning and expanding her knowledge, she received her 200 RYT certification in 2019. Maddy’s intention is to inspire and empower others through a powerful practice. She is devoted to generating positive energy and community. When Maddy isn’t at the studio or working, she enjoys spending her time with her fiancé, traveling, and being outdoors.
