Lodging is 3mi north of Sedona, off North State Route 89A, in Oak Creek Canyon.
Traveling from Phoenix:
From Phoenix, it will take 2 - 2.5 hrs to reach the Briar Patch. Begin by taking I-17 North. About two hours from Phoenix take Exit 298- STATE HWY 179, turning left at the bottom of the exit ramp toward Sedona. Once on HWY 179, you will travel approximately 14mi to reach the heart of Sedona. (Note: you will pass through a part of Sedona called The Village of Oak Creek). You will come to a final traffic circle (roundabout) where you will turn right onto northbound State Route 89A (toward Flagstaff). You will pass through Uptown Sedona, and then enter Oak Creek Canyon. About one and a half miles outside of town you will cross a bridge (Midgley Bridge). From the start of that bridge go another 1.5 miles. We will be on the right. The turn into the Briar Patch is just past our large sign. Follow the signs to the office to check in!
Traveling from Flagstaff:
Traveling south on I-17, exit on Hwy 89A South towards Oak Creek Canyon for approximately 20 miles. Once you reach the Rainbow Trout Farm on the left, watch carefully and go slowly. We come up quickly on the left around a curve less than a mile past the Rainbow Trout Farm. The left turn in to the Briar Patch Inn is BEFORE our sign. Follow the signs to the office to check in!
